All material collected in a GreenWaste Debris Box is transferred to one of our state-of-the-art Resource Recovery Facilities. GreenWaste was the first in California to receive third-party certification of its recycling rates from the Recycling Certification Institute so you can be assured that instead of your waste being buried in a landfill, it’s given new life as recycled products.
Each debris box rental is for one week. We pick up and deliver Monday through Saturday and serve most of Alameda, Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties.

Unacceptable or Restricted Materials in Debris Boxes
- Wet garbage (kitchen waste)
- Medical waste
- Hazardous Materials (pressure treated wood, paint, oil, chemicals, etc)
- Dirt or Concrete (Must use concrete or dirt box)
- Tar and Gravel roofing material (Must use 10 cubic yard)
- Carpet (cannot exceed 25% of load)
- Sheetrock (cannot exceed 25% of load)
- Tree Trunks cannot exceed 6 inches in diameter (must be a 10 cubic yard bin)
